Tough times in life

Have you been through some really tough times in your life?

If you have, you’re not alone. That’s a part of being human, of being alive.

As a human, you respond to circumstances and events that happen in your life. It affects you. That’s natural.

And no matter what kind of difficulty you are dealing with, you have all rights to respond to it.

Your vibration get affected

The problem comes if you get stuck in that feeling, without letting yourself heal.

Your vibration gets affected when you are angry, sad, anxious and frustrated. And because of that, you don’t want to be stuck in this for too long.

Have patience with yourself

How long is too long?

That’s a good question. Of course, it depends on the situation.

My advice to you is to be kind to yourself. Have patience with yourself and give yourself time. Time to grief. Time to react. To be frustrated or sad. Or whatever fits in your situation.

Give yourself the time you need to feel these feelings because you won’t feel good if you bury them and move on.

How you can use gratitude when life is hard

It can be tricky to feel grateful in those tough times when you are in the middle of it.

Of course. But as you are moving on, as time goes by – try to feel grateful in small doses. To express gratitude when life is hard can be done in different ways, depending on your situation.

Situations like:

  • sickness
  • loss/death
  • divorce
  • conflicts
  • financial struggle

Ways to feel gratitude when life’s hard…

If you or someone close to you is sick, feel grateful for being his or her friend. For your friendship. Feel grateful for that person’s healing, if possible.

If you’ve lost someone, you can feel grateful for the time you’ve spent with that person. For things, you’ve done together. Events, laughter, and joy.

Is your situation about a divorce (your own or someone you know) you can apply this as well. Gratitude for the time you got together. If your partner left you, feel gratitude for not spending more of your precious time with him or her.

You can always find things and events to feel grateful for even if you can’t see it at first.

I know, it can seem contradictory. But think about it.

And you are the one who chooses how you are letting the circumstance affect you.

Your healing – your responsibility

To not get stuck in low vibe and a state of grief you have a responsibility to heal.

Yes, it’s your responsibility. No one can do it for you, you have to decide.

And when you do, you’ll start to raise your vibration again.

By using gratitude when life’s hard on you, you slowly but steadily raise your frequency. By raising your frequency, you will also feel better and heal, bit by bit.

Helpful tools for using gratitude when life is hard

Affirmations and journaling are great tools when it’s time for you to heal and deal with thoughts.

Some affirmations I find useful are:

  • I am perfect health.
  • I am strong.
  • I am grateful for my life.
  • I am joy.
  • I am happiness.
  • I am loving my life.

Affirmations can be used written or verbal. Choose what’s best for you.

Journaling can be a great way to write down emotions that pop up. Write down how you feel. About a certain situation, person, event…

Let your feelings flow.

As you heal, your journals will be lighter. When you raise your vibration again, it will show in your writing as well.

When healing, don’t think of manifesting

There is a time for everything in life. When you are healing be kind to yourself and take a pause from conscious manifestation for a while.

Can I manifest more tough times if I’m feeling low?

As long as you don’t get stuck in your low vibe due to grief, anger, resentment, anxiety or sadness – you’re all right.

What you focus on expands, but as long as you don’t get stuck in these low vibe times, you won’t manifest more of that.

You have the power to shift your vibration and heal. And you should.

It isn’t always easy, but it’s doable and you’ve got what it takes to heal and raise your vibration again. When you’re ready.

Summary

You are human.

And you will go through tough times in your life. It’s part of life and you’re not alone.

To using gratitude when life’s hard on you can be easier said than done, but you can do it. And you should. Because healing is your responsibility, to not get stuck in the low vibe for too long.

Be kind to yourself. Love yourself. And love your life.
